Look Who's 2!

This past weekend we celebrated Dakota turning 2.  TWO!!!!  When did that happen?!?  I seems like only yesterday I was expecting here arrival in to the world.  I just seems impossible that that much time has passed by!

We celebrated with our dear friends Jean (Auntie Jean) and Enrique and had a wonderful time.  We absoulutely love when we get to spend time with them and this was no exception.

Dakota, she is a trip.  So full of personality that we are only just beginning to see.  She is such a ham!  She loves to get a laugh or a smile from anyone who is near her.  She is outgoing and will say Hi to anyone within earshot.  She has a smile that can light up a room.  She adores her big sister and follows her around like a shadow.  Her big three things to say are Cumom (come on), Humm (many times over repeating whatever you were saying), and A Lellow (haven't a clue as to what this means as she will say it for EVERYTHING).  She also is says many other words but that is the 3 most often used! 

Thank you to all who made her birthday such a memorable one. Oh, and don't laugh at my attempt at making a birthday cake. Dakota has an egg allergy so I had to make a cake that was egg-free. ....Apparently cake decorating is not my forte but hey.......the birthday girl liked it and that is all that mattered.
