Dakota's Christening!

Today we had Dakota christened and it was a wonderful experience!

The christening happened following Sunday's service and I have to say I was one proud mama.  Both girls were fabulous through the whole thing.  The service was lovely and you could hear Dakota cooing the entire time!

How easily she brings a smile to all that cross her path.  Immediately following the service Reverend Tim had all the children that were there come to the front of the church.  He had Robbie and Nicholas pour the water and then Norm and myself passed Dakota to Reverend Tim.

Reverend Tim had also christened Renae.  In fact, Renae was his first to christen!  And just like her sister before her, Dakota was mesmerized by him and couldn't take her sweet little eyes off of him.

After the ceremony he took her around to meet and be welcomed by the congregation and like a trouper she didn't mind a bit and smiled at everyone!

After the service let out, we stayed behind for pictures with Michael (her godfather, Norm and myself (one of two god mother's, Jody being her godmother as well but we knew that that hers would come by proxy).

Jody, we wished you could have been there.

Hope you all enjoy the pictures!
