The kids got to enjoy helping chop up the wood for the fire. Followed by bubble blowing, s'more eating, sparkler twirling, firework shooting good time!
It was bittersweet since we all knew that we would have to say goodbye in the morning but it we all had some laughs. I can't speak for all, but I know for Norm and I, relaxing around a campfire is something that we hadn't been able to do in a long time.
For Renae, it was a first for the s'mores and sparklers and she handled them like a pro. A memory for her that she will have for a long time!
