Well for a first outing we went to the doctor's office! It was mission organization! I was truly happy to discover that I was able to remember....."what do I pack in that diaper bag" again, and grandma came through with a new activity book for Renae! Yeah Grandma!
The visit went well, Dakota has lost another 2oz but the doctor wasn't concerned because the weight loss has slowed down in rate and he felt that this should now be turning around and going in the other direction by the next visit (Next Thursday). He wanted to do another blood draw though since Dakota was still looking jaundiced. They will let me know asap what the result will be.
As far as I am concerned. I am healing well, moving around well but I guess I have overdone it some since I do have a sharp pain on my right side of my incision. I guess I will keep a close eye on this and then if it doesn't improve soon, I will call my doctor.
